i know i only got it back today but there seems to be a funny little noise, its constant and the note changes with speed rather than revs and happens in and out of gear and with the clutch both in and out. it sounds like something is ever so slightly rubbing on something else, almost like plastic. i must emphasize(sp) the fact that it would be a very light rub as it is quite quiet but still noticable

I get a slight rubbing noise in my Fabia at 30mph in 3rd. No other speed, no other gear. Had it looked at, and dealer couldn't find anything. Muttered something about engine harmonics and left it at that. Haven't noticed anything 'dragging' when the car's making the noise, so just ignore it and hope that if it IS something serious, it'll break in a non-dangerous manner before the warranty expires...

as said its in all gears at all speeds, even when in neutral but isn't loud and doesn't sound to damaging but who am i to say that? just wondered if peeps had any suggestions before i ask the dealer again
