Hi Guys,

I have a 2001 Skoda Octavia that has developed an air con fault.

I have checked the air con clutch and it is engaging when the A/C it turned on and stops when A/C is off.

As it wasn't cooling I thought I would get it regassed (been a couple of years) so took advantage of the Kwik Fit offer if they cant get it 10% colder they don't charge you.

They evacuated the system for 20 mins and regassed it and they managed to get it down to 6 degres, about 10 minutes later the A/C stopped cooling. (outside temp 20)

The clutch is still engaging as it should but wondering if anyone else has had a similar fault and how they fixed it

I don't really want to spend 600 quid on new A/C pump.
