Anyone help?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Anyway I had my car back to the dealers on thursday last week to get the driver's side DRL replaced as it was a different colour to the passeneger side. I havnt been at home to see the car and got in it this morning to realise the problem is still there :'(

The two lights are of equal brightness so there doesnt seem to be an immediate fault but on is like really bright white, verging on having like a purple tinge and the other one is bright white with a little bit of blue. I can't post pics cos it just doesnt show up on the camera.

Any ideas?? Can people have a look at the front of their FL vRS's and see if they have a similar problem that's gone unnoticed?

Much appreciated, Steve

Thanks for that  I have seen a couple drive past me and i actually think its the one that "appears brighter" that is at fault. Have you got a pic of the front of your car with them on by any chance?

From your description, it sounds like the 2(?) luminaires have different light temperatures. The only way to fix this is to swap one of them out.

Yeah thats exactly it mate, my first thought was a possible wiring fault but that would result in reduced brightness in one of the units would it not? Its the strangest problem iv ever came across!
