air filter - same as other VAG?

Featured Replies

Just noticed when servicing my 03 PD130 that the frigging monkeys at Nationwide must have binned my Green Cotton filter last service, despite me telling them it was resuable, and a big sticker on the airbox. New ones are a good fifty quid - can anyone advise if the 1.9 PD130 filter is the same as any VW, Audi, Seat or other Skoda unit so I can keep an eye out for cheaper options?

thanks

you can pick up a new air filter at places like eurocar parts for around a tenner.

A reusable, high flow one or a standard restrictive paper one?

.mine was remapped. By jabbasport using a greencotton one, and benefits from the air flow.

It's the same as a Passat TDi
