My car keeps telling me that my front left parking light has failed. It then changes it's mind and decides that it hasn't failed.

I have confirmed that the light is on, even when the car thinks it has failed.

worth changing the bulb anyway, always seems to do the trick. I presume they go slightly higher resistance before they blow...

Check the wiring and bulb, usually it's ok.

The car is using coolant and the rear wash wipe packed up a few weeks ago. Look like it's a trip to the dealers. It's only a few thousand miles short of a service anyway so I'll get the lot done.
