Fans not working on Octavia I VRS

Featured Replies

I've had my Octavia I VRS for over a year now, and the car has been faultless, apart from the Air con not working. Thinking it just needed re gassing and the weather getting a bit sticky, I thought it best to get it sorted. It turns out however when activating the air con the fans aren't kicking in and come to think about I've never heard the fans kick in when warm. It's just something I never considered.

So I'm thinking it's the fan switch and have an Leon Cupra to pinch the fan switch from and use as a test. Only thing is, I have no idea where the fan switch is. Can someone point my in the right direction? Pics would be helpful. Also the fuse box location would be helpful aswell to check its not a daft fuse.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
