I had some inconsistent indicator clicking for a while before they failed completely. Bought a new relay and now the hazards work but the indicators don't - at all no clicking or anything.

What else could cause this?

Indicator stalk could be the issue. Try squirting some switch cleaner into the switch first - cheaper and much easier than replacing the switch!

That's what I did mbames and to my suprise it worked and only cost £3.50 a can! Wish I tried that before I bought a new relay!! Well worth a try
