Just discovered a feature on the Fiscon bluetooth kit

Featured Replies

I might be slow here but i've never seen this recognised anywhere :giggle:

The fiscon kit supports bluetooth audio streaming and can be setup pretty easily. However, If you have an iPhone you're stuffed because it doesn't support the necessary bluetooth profile.

Or are you? I was sitting waiting on Monika finishing work and listening to the radio, i started tapping out a text but it kept muting the radio to play the clicky noises over the stereo  so i whacked the iphone on silent and it still muted the radio with each keypress

That got me thinking, if it plays the clicks of the buttons over bluetooth, will it play anything else? Fired on the iPod app and lo-and-behold, music streaming over bluetooth!

It's not perfect, appears to be in mono for starters, but it's a nice surprise!

iPhones have done this since iPhone OS v3 came out.
