OEM Dog Guard for Estate

Featured Replies

Hi folks

As per title im after one of these for the Slingshot.

Will serve two porpoises for me. One to Stop the Mutt obviously and the other to stop kit coming out the back when i have a lot of stuff in the car

Have posted this in the wanted section but posted here as wanted to ask if anyone new where you can get OEM ones cheap or similar looking (i don't like the look of the Halfrauds tat) as £104 is a bit steep for a bit of Chicken wire on a tubular frame painted black :giggle:

Cheers

Its gonna have to be a small mesh to stop your dog mate , then if you brake hard your gonna get white fluffy chips

She aint that small pete. Especially when she tries to sleep on you. She only weighs 10kg but she can't half triple that weight when she sleeps

Hi Carl,

Firstly, I have the OEM guard and IMHO it is well made and a good fit so well worth the money.

If you can wait, I'm getting a new car 1st Sept so will be selling my car then, and the dog guard too. I bought it here from a fellow Briskodian for £40, so would be happy to pass it on to another Briskodian for the same price.

BTW - if you think £100 is steep - I'm getting a Passat estate and the OEM guard is ~£250-£300 from VW

Yup i can wait mate

Thank you very much just let me know near the time how you want funds sorting etc

I got the OEM guard for mine. I must say that it is excellent. My dogs are not small, with my Newfie being 8.5 stone, so no chance of fitting through the gaps - that said I do not think a terrier would get throught either so you will be fine. It fits well, onto the rear seat latch points, with no rattles at all. The rear seats still drop for loading, and the guard is removable on two thumb screw leaving the mounts in place! Well worth the money imho even at the price.

I am now looking for a tailgate guard as being able to leave the tailgate open while parked with the dogs in would be great.
