Please could someone help? I have an 03 vrs that needs a new cylinder head. I have had a couple of prices around £400 for one but what additional parts do I need? I guess a cambelt set and water pump, but do I need anything else? My engine code is AUQ, could anyone tell me the cheapest place to get the bits from as well? Many thanks

Gasket set, and I'd refresh the oil and coolant.

Did the old head get damaged from oil starvation? If so you might need to replace valve stem oil seals, camshafts etc if the damage was that severe.

Sorry, had a problem with my PC! No, I've had a guy look at the engine and had the head pressure tested. Been told that a new head will sort it. The damaged one is cracked across the ports so I need a new (Recon) one. I've been told now that I need a gasket set, fixing bolts kit (?), water pump and cam belts. Other people have mentioned tensioners - will I need these as well?

Any further help would be most grateful.
