after a bit of ICE advice, I have the standard head unit in my MK1 Furby.

looking for something a bit better with aux/ USB interfaces.

woudl something like this go straight in? with the relevant ISO cable?

Ya, thats double din.. which means it takes up the room of the cubby hole underneath the std HU.

ok, what would I need to do to fit a standard one?

would that require a loarger cubby hole?

as it appears to be larger than the standard single-din ones.

single din ones are pretty much plug and play.. no need modifications, take out the std HU by using the keys to poke in the two holes at the front (I didnt have this so I snapped a mini hack saw blade in half and used that instead, careful not to scratch anything!). you may need a cage to hold it in snug.
