Not sure if this is due to overstock at my local Tesco (Milton, Cambs) or Nationwide....

Just spotted that Castrol Magnatec 5W 30 and 5W 40 are half price, £8.59 and £5.50 respectively (2 litres). Might be worth checking out your local Tesco at this price.

It needs to be half price really, seing it is over priced for an oil that is marked to appear as a synthetic which I think is just a mineral oil with some esther additive! I dont think I would put it in my Octy, but I may pop in and get some for the corsa - it would be rude not too working just round the corner

I just bought a Litre of Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30 in Tesco for £4.25 it is VW504 00/507 00 Spec so good for the petrol owners on longlife service scheule's amongst us. Looks nationwide as I saw it in Herfordshire yesterday and Canbridgeshire today.
