I am going to Canada later this year and I am having trouble finding a rental company that does not have a young driver surcharge - has anyone managed to find a rental company in Canada that does not have this? I know it's a bit of a random question but I have been round all the main comparison sites to no avail. I'm 24 btw.

My company never found any in the States a few years back so I drove the hire car as the company wasn't prepared to pay the extra surcharge for my 22 year old colleague to be on the agreement...

Think you can buy surcharge and full insurnace here before you go. My mate does something like that for his son when they go on holiday...think its only about 50 notes a year and covers any car you hire.
