cel light on safe to drive?

Featured Replies

Sorry if it's been covered before.

My cel light's just come on, my brake lights still work and i can't hear any air leaks. The car drives normally no change what so ever and fuel consumption remains the same. Is the car still safe to drive till i can get it checked out?

If it's constantly lit then yes, it's safe (roadworthy and unlikely to damage engine).

If your car is out of warranty, try and see if there's a member nearby with VCDS who may be able to help a fellow Freedom Briskodian out :)
