Diverter valve fitting?

Featured Replies

Just a quick question regarding fitting my diverter valve. As i am sure some people have read i recently fitted a Forge 007P DV to my VRS and a few miles later the car went into limp mode. It has been into the dealers today (with original DV refitted) and they say it is the MAF (well the girl actually said the Air mass sensor which i take to be MAF?? ) that is faulty.

Now hopefully all should be back up and running tomorrow (fingers crossed) What i really want to know is am i likely to get problems again if i refit the Forge DV? I didn't touch anything else when fitting it so find it very hard to understand why i got my problem, unless it was unrelated. ( I had noticed the car being a bit rough on tickover before)

So in a nutshell is there anything i need to be extra careful with when refitting the Forge? Thanks

Nah you should be OK.

And remember all genuine parts fitted come with 12 month warranty ;)
