Question about spare wheel and jack (& accessories)

Featured Replies

I'll soon be taking delivery of my new FL Fabia SE Hatch and am trading in my Fabia L2 57 plate hatch.

As I use my car abroad a lot and I have dealt with the dealer several times, he has kindly agreed to me keeping the spare wheel and jack, which has never been used, from my old Fabia and placing the goo can in my old car for when they resell it. Both cars are fitted with 15" 'Antares' alloys, although the spare wheel is conventional steel.

So my question is to anyone who has taken delivery of a FL Fabia recently. Does it just come with an inflation kit and no jack? In which case I guess the only thing I will need to take to the dealer on swap over day will be the wheel bolt security converter for the old car?

Grateful for any heads-up.

The new cars come with a can of goo and a compressor only and a shaped polystyrene insert for the spare wheel hole to stop them rolling around (which also has dividers in so it makes for a good storage space).

Thanks Fatbloke, appreciated. I'll keep the old polystyrene insert with jack, brace and spare wheel.

You can however specify the spare wheel (inc. jack) as an option for £45. Mine has the spare wheel.

I paid for a spare wheel with my new Fabia SE which was only £45, not bad for an alloy.
