Hi all, just thought i would drop in and have a look around the forum, currently looking at buying a car (1st car) and in particular a Skoda Fabia Vrs and this was the first place that popped up on google search.

Looking at spending around the 6-7k mark (seen quite a few that im gonna look into a bit more), already looked for insurance and lowest i have come to find is just short of 3k fully comp - £2897 i think it was, might seem alot but this is about the mark for most cars i checked out - (saxo 1.6 Vtr, Corsa 1.4, 106 Quicksilver) due to being a new driver.

looking at the Fabia Vrs due to the fact its a 5 door car so would be better for myself seen as i have a little boy who will be riding in the back and would make it easier to get him in and out of, diesel so cheaper to run and besides that i didnt wanna do what my mates have done/did and gone for Saxo's, 106's, Corsa's and whatever else but i did want a nippy, stylish car and the Fabia Vrs just catches my eye.

Anyway Hello and i hope to be joining in some of your topics and pestering you all for info and help.
