Octavia 1.6 Question?

Just a quick question there guys,

As some of you know I have my new vRS Octavia cr on order.

I was supposed to have it by 21st August but as has been the pattern recently it now is going to be late Sept.

Dealer has told me they will lend me a car until my new one arrives as I have my current car sold as of 21st Aug.

The question is this,

While speaking to the dealer yesterday they informed me that it MAY be an automatic they will be lending me.

This does not concern me as I have owned several Automatic cars.

What I am wondering is how is the fuel effeciency ( or lack of )

in the model they are suggesting.

I had a look on their webpage and the only auto they have in stock appears to be one of these.

Skoda Octavia AMBIENTE 1.6 5DR TIP 102HP

How are these to drive as in performance/Economy??

I dont want a loan of something that will annoy me or rob me blind
