The little switch ontop of the right indicator stalk

Featured Replies

It's been bugging me for ages now, but I can't figure out what it does. It's on the right stalk (windscreen wipers) and is a semi-circular type switch which you can swivel left or swivel right.

The number of green lights iv been honked at because I am busy playing with it is unreal & before I get beaten I figured i'd better find out exactly what it does! :p

On mine it varies the delay for the intermittent wipers

If you have auto wipers it sets the sensitivity of the auto setting. If you do not it gives variable speed on intermittent. When pushed furthest to the left it has the slowest/less frequent wipe and the right gives the fastest/most frequent wipe.

Thank you very much guys, don't have the auto wipers so will have a fiddle & see if i can notice the difference! :)

Don't forget that when stationary, the delay between wipes is double that of when the car is moving (and also, the car goes to intermittent wipes when standing still if the wipers are on standard wipe speed)
