I have the 1.2 TSI... until now I haven't seen that value on my car. The max average consumption I had is 13.5 km/liter

The web sites just use to copy and paste the values of the Skoda brochures without any real test.

In a mixed usage I measured 14 km/l in 2000 km.

But I was very rarely over 4000 rpm.

oh yes....cos the instant value was ludicrously high lol.... .....just been to doctors, and i made a note that ive done more or less 200 miles for 1/4 of a tank ...told u i have a light foot

That's the result from having a not so crowded streets like here where we have trafficlights every 50 meters

and a bunch of idiots who use the cellphone (also for SMS messaging) while driving... so you have to brake continuosly

Averaged about 42mpg over nearly 3000 miles. Very pleased.
