My kid just pulled the rear view mirror off mounting.

Its a ball and socket affair the socket is part of the mirror housing the ball mounting is still attached to the windscreen, anyone know how to get it back on?

shouldn't it just pop back on with a little force?

yeah whatever u do do NOT hit it , it just twists on ,if u hold it at 9oclock offer it to the screen and twist it to 12 oclock it should b on ok ,i only know coz iv'e just had a new screen fitted :thumbup:

+1 with carlos-666. I have had two windscreens fitted, and seen it twisted off and back on.
