Removing rear glass from a door

Featured Replies

I've decided to put the tints from a spare set of doors I have onto my car doors, my question is can I remove the glass from these spare doors even though they have no power?

Any help appreciated

cheers

Mike

Guess you will need apply some power to the electric motor to get to the window to drop a bit?

When I "obtained" a new nearside front glass for my car from a scrap yard, I think I cut the wires between the motor winder and pulleys so that I could lower the window (hand on the glass to push it down). What I can remember is what it was pi$$ing down and I got wet, but I did collect a spare window motor, tweeter unit and door release cable :giggle:
