Thinking about getting the Columbus for my Octavia as i have the Bolero at the moment, am i right in thinking it can go in as a straight swap or do i need to change the anything ie dash panel or are they the same size.

The Columbus uses the same size dash panel as the Bolero, so you'll be fine.

In my 2010 FL they are not the same shape. I had to change the surround, it was about £30 I think.

Don't let that put you off. I picked one up the other day (albeit for a slightly diff setup) from a skoda dealer for a fiver. It's a piece of cake to replace.

Indeed the list is very dated. It doesnt include any FL prices or part numbers as they are different, hence the different price.

Will the first one(pic) fit the fl 2009 octavia? i have the skoda swing player in my fl octavia,

will the first shape bolero fit my car without any panel or trims?

What's the difference between the 2 - other than shape?

I read somwhere that someone had a problem with a 32Gb SD card in their Bolero - I'm not sure if that was a fault, a firmware issues, or whether there are difference modles with different spec's...
