Does anyone know how i order canbus wire in the correct colour or if i can get it from somewhere other than the stealer?

It's normally just "unshielded twisted pair" (UTP) you can buy it in Maplins etc. of various cores and colours / patterns.

Depending on the colours you need (e.g. orange and white / orange striped) It might even be cheaper going to PC world or something and buying "CAT 5" or "CAT5e" (both are good enough for CANbus) PC networking cable and just ignoring the other twisted pairs in the cable (you only need 2).

I have drums of the stuff if you're anywhere near Glasgow.

cheers for that mute, I need about 6 colours as the loom ive got for the ops install is too short so i need to extend it. I believe the FL has the can gateway in a different location so its now to far for this loom to reach.

I will see what maplins have to offer always loads of gadgets in there as well.

The other colours, are they def for the canbus? All the canbus wiring i've seen in my car so far (2010 FL Octavia Vrs) is white sheathed 2 core twisted pair. The other coloured wires have been for other stuff (power etc.) not the canbus.
