The water wasn’t high enough to get into the evy and engine bay is dry, can only assume it’s a sensor or similar low down like abs, steering angle? But only stabbing in the dark at the moment.

Anyone know where the car reads speed from? Is it what I would call the abs sensors on the hubs? speedo wasn’t working but has started to periodically work and when the speedo is working the error:brakes doesn’t show and the rear brake lights stop flickering.

Yer tried clearing the faults the above scan is what keeps coming back. took it into skoda this morning and they tried clearing faults to no avail and are unsure on what the issue is. i’m wondering now what with hail damage on roof and bonnet plus the electrical issue if calling the insurance is now the best option?

Hey hoping for any suggestions on what the root cause of all the faults I’m getting on my VCDS scan. I’m currently in the Netherlands and am meant to be returning to the uk on wed today. however whilst coming out of Utrect on Tuesday the lovely sunny 31c day quickly turned to severe rain and hail, there is some cosmetic damage to roof and bonnet from the hail which I will worry about later. My main issue is whilst driving I had the following flash up on the maxi dot: error: brakes workshop error: acc front assist error: tpm error: esc stability error: light bend in total 7 faults appeared and the car is constantly making a bing sound as it flashes up with errors every 1-2 seconds. i suspect it’s water ingress due to the amount of rain water build up on roads, at one point I couldn’t see the kerbs and had nowhere to pull over to. On checking the car with vcds im getting loads of faults across several control units. In addition to the faults the brake lights are flashing on and off, which is a real pain as this makes the car unsafe to drive effectively stranding me in Holland. Going to try and see if I can get skoda to look at it but wondered if anyone had any idea what would cause all these faults?
