Hey guys, I've fitted my forge fmic and its great but . . . . . . . . . . . . . I've noticed the 90 degree rubber hose that connects the egr valve to the plastic pipe that goes to the pipework that connects to the intercooler, has been deslocating itself, not popping out just not sitting right. Now I know it will pop out soon a knacker the pipe so has anyone experienced this and modded if any info would be great cheers felix (I did read something on here ages ago about metal boost pipes but can't fint it no)

When you say 'not sitting right', what do you mean? There's quite a bit of play in the boost hose joints when the engine's off, as they are designed to move a bit as the pressure changes in the hose. You can get SILICON hoses to replace the angled sections, and these fit around the outside of the metal straight sections and clamp down with a jubilee clip. Get a kit if you want, but you may also want to check everything was put together properly after the I/C went in - just in case...

I haven't got the FMIC but I have had the pipes off to do various jobs and noticed this with mine - sat at an angle. On mine I swapped the clips over from either end of the pipe and it sorted it.

They must have gone back in wrong places and they are slightly different. Worth a try.

When I stop I can push it back in and u hear it click

is this at the end of the plastic pipe that runs down the side of the engine? can't you replace it with the metal jobbie off a PD160 Ibiza, put silicon bends on either end and jubilee clip the feck outta it

egr delete, samco 90 then stainless boost pipe cant go wrong!!

everything is 57mm
