Missing pollen filter

Featured Replies

OK the only place left that I haven't had my hand in/up is the exhaust pipe while looking for the pollen/panel filter on my Octavia 2 TDi.

Has anyone photographed it ? I am at a total loss. Utterly defeated.

Please thanks.

Under the glovebox :)

The only two places I've not had my hand in/up are the exhaust pipe and under the glove box. Cripes how do you get at it ? Do you go in upside down or use a mirror on the floor. This could be tricky for me I'm not slender or a gynaecologist.

Many thanks.

Jeeze I know where you are coming from. Beer in my case.

Dead simple - remove the foam panel underneath the glovebox (a couple or so small plastic screws) The withdraw the filter from the housing and slide a new one in)

There is also a small plastic cover that slides from side to side.

Could be a typo, turns out it isn't..lol
