Interesting Number plate site

Featured Replies

Need some number plates so was looking about to see what is available and found this site...

http://www.shownumberplates.org.uk/platebuilder.htm

Looks pretty good and you can make loads of settings and alterations, now i just need to find the legal requirements for plates :0)

From that site... "Any plates sold via the Show Number Plates website are sold as show plates (for use at track days, private car cruises and at trade shows etc.) Show Plates are not legal on UK roads."

Why bother with looking up the legal requirements when the plates will probably not come with the correct markings (bsau, manufacturer)?

Get some Dubmeister plates, they look the business and they are legal

Ive just got some from Demon Plates, their plates are legal

Pretty good plates I got the 3D carbon fibre effect lettering

Do an internet search for legality - the fonts, colours etc are all clearly laid down - or just look at any plates with the maker's name on.

I get mine from Crag's plates - great quality and service.

We bought / buy our plates from a local company called Alidrew, and they have been really good - quality and service.
