Passenger door wont open :-(

Hi all,

For a few days the front passnger door had been making a strange sound when locking or unlocking the central locking. I had been meaning to take the door card off and have a look, but typically, it has totaly failed before i have had the chance. The door is locked and i am unable to open it. I have tried pulling the door pin up from the inside, however this is making no difference. As the door is shut, i am also unable to remove the door card to get at the mechanism.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get the door open without having to wreck the doorcard or the door? Or come across this before.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
