Buying from Milotec

Featured Replies

Want to pay for a few items but they don't accept paypal or plastic. They insist on bank tranfer in Euros, however my bank does'nt give me the option and the online sites want ID and all sorts to prevent launding, it all seems too much hassle. Any ideas? Western Union only sends to their agents.

You could try them

They are based in the UK

I must admit , I found them a bit hard to deal with , but a bit better than bank transfer ;)

Thanks for the suggestion Sarah but afraid they don't do any of the stuff I need :(

Most banks offer IBAN transfers though?

OK , sorry about that , have you tried calling them with a part number?

They are slow , so I would imagine that the web site is slow to be updated too :giggle: can I say that?????

I have to disagree, I have had a very good experience with RSD. I ordered a Milotec rear bumper guard from them last year. It was not listed on their website but they had one in stock that was delivered to me in a couple of days. Initially the postage was going to be a flat rate of something like £10-£15 via a courier, but they were happy to walk it down to the Post Office and just charged the actual cost, which was a more reasonable £5 ish.

yes, rang my bank when i bought from superskoda. Superskoda gave me all the details, my bank put me through to a section who were dedicated to overseas payments, gave them all the details and they sorted it out. It did cost about £8.00 to do the payment though as a bank charge.
