seat cleaning

Featured Replies

right i just managed to get hold of a vax today so tomorrow i am gonna start cleaning the interior of my car just wanting to know if any one has any hints or tips for before during or after to make sure i have done the best i can

If the vax doesn't suck as much of the moisture out of the seat as possible then have a hair dryer handy to give it a 5 minute going over. The important thing with the VRS seats is to dry the water out as quick as possible otherwise it stays in the foam and makes the annoying brown water stains on the silver bits.

oh yeah i know about that one mine look like a baby been round the car with no nappy for a fortnight :S

For the seats i would recommend Autosmart dry foam upholstery cleaner.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Autosmart-Brisk-dry-foam-upholstery-fabric-cleaner-/150469786352?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM

Its seriously great stuff, cleaned the delicate alcantara fabric on my steering wheel and seats in my Ford Racing Puma, also cleaned 10 years of heavy smoking off the headliner of my G/F's old Clio from an anthracite grey to an original light cream.

Plus its a dry foam so no worries with damp seats.

I need a vax for my carpets.

use the search function, it really helps clean them...............
