Just had a call from the dealer to say that my Octavia TDi vRS DSG Estate was built yesterday and is now on its way to the dock... 17 weeks to the day from when the order was placed!

Does anyone know when the next boat leaves, knowing my luck I've just missed one. Been told it will be ready 2 weeks after boat has landed.

Sold my Peugeot XSi last night as well so everything is gradually falling into place. Will have to use the wife's Toyota Yaris in the meantime though that's not as bad as it sounds...very nippy round town.

It normally sails over a weekend every other week atm, when mine car was delivered it sailed at the end of week 29

Mine has been built and apparantly was to be on a boat yesterday!

Update from the dealer.....car arrived in Grimsby 22nd Aug.....at the dealer tomorrow (27th)......picking it up late next Thursday (2nd)

Not worried about joining the panic on the 1st, rather they had another couple of days getting it ready.

The long wait is nearly over.

Mine has been on the dock at Emden since 8th August, should (according to dealer & SUK) gone on Isar Highway yesterday which reached Grimsby today at 10.42am so hopefully i too will have mine on thurs 2nd sept.

I started with ten weeks and we are up to 14 already - I might have mine for Xmas at this rate!
