My car passed it's MOT yesterday using one of those new ATL MOT rigs. They basically allow one person to MOT the car without the need for a second person to turn the steering etc. Certainly made intereting viewing, as the stresses the suspension, steering was subjected looked far more vigorous than a man just shaking the components.

I have to say that I think they might well be a good idea as the current suspension test is a joke.
