Superpro Dogbone mount bush Fitted

Featured Replies

I fitted this as ive always upgraded the dogbones on previous cars and the improvement was great, brought a second hand mount £20 (thanks devonutopia) then the bush from awesome-gti, for £46ish went for the 70k version and they do a slightly more stonger 80k version for track use. Old bush pressed out piece of pee, and the new bush went in very easy too. Even managed to fit it without jacking the car up lol.

Initial impressions are noticable vibration at idle, but nothing major. but the gears feel excellent and from 1st to second no longer get the sort of hopping motion, from the mount moving back and forward. and where the engine used to rock on idle, this has also been greatly reduced, and its alot harder to rock the engine by hand now, all in all a very excellent mod for those people that want a sorter option then the hardcore vibratechnics mount.

Filling with Silicone does the trick & firms them up no end, Nice & Cheap too :D

Hi Mark, we have these on the shelf and do an exchange service. Already have one complete and ready to send out

Excellent bush, makes a big difference to engine movement and is a good comfortable ride unlike the vibratechics one!

Alex

Vibratecknics was awful

not much gain for a loss of comfort

its designed for a petrol anyway

Hi Alex, thought id seen an exchange service somewhere, not looking for it quite at the moment but what do you charge?

cheers mark

Just thought I'd let you know, the vibration at tick-over does get better with use, had mine in just over six months and either I've got used to it or it does settle in a bit, which Sarah at awesome told me it would.

The difference it made to 1st>2nd gearchange was incredible!

Well worth it.
