electrical fault

i have a octavia 07 plate with an intermittent electrical problem fuse number 4 which is for reversing,aircon,and oil level sensor keeps blowing .

i have changed oil level sensor because diagnostic scanner said it was shorting to + but fuse still keeps blowing.

checked bulbs and bulb holder.

any ideas please.

i take it no one has any ideas :thumbdown:

Have you had the A/C compressor checked if that is running off that circuit.

Seems logical since a sensor has been changed and the bulbs checked.

Also if there is a fault there then perhaps it's a damaged piece of wiring where it is shorting to the car body.

a/c runs ok the trouble is the fault is intermittent , have checked wiring that i can see and get to.

could it be reverse switch shorting out.
