Fabia I Exhaust similar/same as Octy I?

Hello, just a quick one, been searching for decat downpipes and looking at pre-made ones before I start ringing around for some custom ones, I saw some on ebay saying a fabia decat pipe will also fit MK4 golfs and Octy I's..?

So I started comparing some pics of them, they seem kind of similar except some have hangers at different places....................... am I barking up the wrong tree?
