Aux input

Featured Replies

Good morning everyone,

If I change my headunit, will the aux port in my armrest still work with my iPod?

Thanks,

Chris

Depends what headunit you change to. A few details always help..........

Sorry fella, thought there was a general kinda answer.

No idea in terms of specific headunits, what features would I need to still use the aux?

Sorry for sounding dumb but ICE isn't my strong point.

Didnt know wether you meant you were changing to another Skoda unit or an aftermarket one. Skoda units (Columbus) will work fine.

Aftermarket radios (depends which one of course!) mostly support "aux-in" so you should be able to keep it working. The radio you select depends wether or not you'll either need some sort of adapter or will will need to re-wire the connectors behind the stereo.
