instrument panel not working!

Featured Replies

hi

It had to happen on a Bh weekend!.

Started my Octy yesterday no problems there but as i drove off i noticed the rev counter and speedo wern't working i stopped and tried restarting the car and nothing in the panel is working - warning lights indicator lights water and fuel gauges, the indicators are working ok. the temp gauge shows .5 degrees! and the trips worklng fine. Also the car drives without any problems

Also the handbrake is stiff as hell when you try and push it down ( insert comments here!)

As its a company car i'm not to worried about getting it sorted but it means i cant get out and about over the weekend so if anyones come across this before and can suggest a quick fix i would appreciate it.

So it looks like im stuck indoors with the cricket and F1 for the day :)

I wouldnt worry about being stuck in, being the BH you could have been stuck in traffic

Have you checked the fuses, remove the panel on the end of the dash on drivers side

If by chance they happen to replace the instrument panel keep the old one and if the screen is in mint condition I will buy it.
