New install- Speakers Ticking !

Featured Replies

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help, i have installed a Double Din Head unit in my Fabia vrs and all is fantastic while the engine is running or ignition is on or even in accessory mode. But as soon as i take the Key out my speakers start ticking about every second. I have double checked the wiring and connections and all is correct. I have also tried various different Grounds to to connect the negative wire to from battery to body work and back to using stock ground with no difference what so ever. I have fitted quite a few head units previous with no problems. Any help would be Fantastic :Sor if you know a car audio fitter who would be able to install it for me in chesterfield area. :S

Might be worth checking the connections on the ISO block to make sure both are same.

Things to look for might be permanent live and ignition crossed, power aerial/remote/telephone mute can cause issues. Car manufactures have a tendency to use these connections for "stuff" not compatible with ISO standards.

If you're 100% sure all wires correct and present, the only thing left is a problem with the headunit itself.
