I wanted to know if the Octavia 2009 (face lift) 1.6 MPi comes with the sound deadening panel under the hood/bonnet. I know the previous models came with but I don't seems to have one. Any commnts would be welcome.

It not fitted as standard on petrol models. Skoda say it is not required, but you can buy it from your Skoda dealer , I think the kit costs about £18.

Only on the diesel
