Hi all

A good mate of mine is on his way to look at a mk1 vrs which he found on ebay (link attached below). As he is not going to be with the car for about an hour thought i would post up the details to see if anyone knew the car or could see anything he should be careful of before parting with his hard earned.

Also, is the APR ECU with stock map remap programme a good thing?

ANy help as always greatly appreciated

Cheers guys

 I saw this on eBay the other night, it looks a very good example, I'd want to pay around £3k for it though.

Cant say i recognise it from here..seen this also when looking to see what mines worth i would pay 3500 if its as clean as said..

GREAT colour too

Looks a very nice example indeed and a unmolested one.

Good miles and you can see it has been maintained and looked after.

This car would go for close to what he is asking so make a good offer quick.

could be good - awesome is meant to be an excellent indy.

however no history for about 20k miles and 2 years could be worrying - i'd be asking serious questions as to why and make sure i was 100% happy with the answers

make sure you look at the buyers guide on here too

THanks for the replies guys. I could not make it to go with him to have a look but just spoken to him on the phone and he was well impressed with the way it drove and looked. He has managed to get what sounds like a great deal paying a fraction under 3k. He is now on his way back to Tunbridge Wells, with his new toy, a very happy man and will soon be a newbie BRISKY member :-)
