I know this topic has been covered in detail on here, but after a bit of searching I couldn't find what I was looking for. After dicing with disaster more than once during this years ridiculous weather conditions I have decided to invest in a set of 16" wheels and winter tyres (also I'm wanting my Zeniths refurbed so having a spare set of wheels will come in handy). I'm sure I've seen a topic about possible places to buy! Not fussed if they are steel or a VAG alloy, can anybody point me in the right direction.

You can, click on the search button in the top header (rather than the magnifying glass one) and fill in the search form adding which sub forum you wish to search.

If you want to use chains: please check with your dealer that your winterset is compatible with snow chains, many 16" and 17" rims are not qualified for chains since there is not enough room between the tyre and the suspension of the Octavia.

I don't think you can use chains in the UK.
