Samco inlet pipe

Featured Replies

I've just been searching the net this morning and found the Samco turbo inlet pipe. It looks to be a good job and relativly straight forward to fit. Just wondering has anyone on here fitted one to an Octy RS? i'm just looking to see if there is much of performance increase etc etc with new pipe fitted.

Most of the Audi forums and 20v website rave about them so they can't be that bad, cheap too,

Yep have got one on mine, and it is relatively straight forward to fit.you'll get a bit of knuckle bashing and it is made easier to fit with the help of a friend.

its a tight squeeze when pushing the TIP down to the turbo and making sure you position the jubilee clip in the correct position so you can tighten it up,the other problem i encounted when tightening up this clip was the flange on the turbo is quite narrow so you have to be careful when tightening the jubilee clip up that you have someone pushing the TIP from the side and someone underneath tightening the clip up otherwise the clip will pop the TIP off the flange.

if your near Essex and want a hand to fit then just let me know.

i got my TIP from Forgemotorsport and it cost 119+VAT+Delivery and it dosen't come with any jubilee clips which cost extra.

i fitted mine over a 2 day period when i also fitted a FMIC and Full Turbo Back Exhaust i also have a Carbonio CAI and now you can really hear it sucking and the turbo spinning up.

sorry if i've waffled a bit!!!!

Great stuff, one will be ordered shortly. A bit stingy that you don't get clips etc.

Cheers
