i want to colour code the chrome bit in my headlamps

anyone got a guide or tips

or even pics

i mean the small chrome lip closest to the glass

This thay are a sealed unit.

They're not sealed - they can be disassembled to do this. There's a guide (in the Fabia section I think) for doing this. Fabia and Octavia lights are similar.

It's Halfords gloss black.

It takes some time to do but worth it. I used a hair dryer to warm the original bond. Make sure you get all the old stuff out and buy some silicone sealent to re-seal them.

kool going to get paint and silcone on sunday i think i may even use magic black push the boat out lol

I've just done mine on my octy, i'd advise getting a spare set of lamps and doing it on them, then swopping them over,

They can be split, i did mine with a big screwdriver and heat gun and alot of swearing

I then got them JDM indicators to match them off superskoda
