Try searching for towbar fitting - somebody posted full instructions for this including bumper removal - must be at least four years ago!

Hey mate ive just removed the rear bumper from my estate so will be the same principal.

You have to remove the rear lights (4 x 10mm bolts next to the bulb housing). Below that are 2 removable plastic clips (they have a pin in the centre you pull out first.

The plastic panels just inside the boot lid (one with catch in) unclip with a decent pull and then the 2 side ones have 3 clips but a torx screw which is revealed once you pull the centre trim off.

Pull the carpet back on the boot sides and will be 2 x 13mm bolts behind it which hold the metal bracket that the bumper clips to.

There are about 4 torx under the rear bumper that have to removed and the rear torx on the arch liner and one that hold the bumper on.

Think thats it mate and took me about 30 mins to remove it.

PS not sure if the saloon has the cargo clips inside the boot but if it does then the little plastic clip in the centre comes out with a little push with a screwdriver and reveals a torx (small one though)
