Just fitted front mudflaps

Featured Replies

Got a front set of genuine Skoda mudflaps and just went out to fit them ......must have taken ....ooohhh uuuummmmm ....all of three minutes  ....so if they are that easy to fit I might just splash out on the rear ones later

Sounds about right, stealer will charge an hour to fit, minimum of £70. I had to remove and fit again on a previous Superb, not only fitted wrong but jacked up on the body seam.

Would mudflaps stop this?

Guess who's getting the power washer out this morning?

Yep, had to refit them on my SM for just the same reason, and yes, they had jacked up the car on the bodyseam too, removing the underseal and bending the seam.

As for preventing the delicate shade of mud on the side of the doors, nope, you'll still get that but just a bit less of it, and hopefully, a few less stone chips!

I'm just hoping to cut down on the ammount of tar that gets on the side of the car...so far it's looking good

The front flaps will not totally stop the crap on the bottom of the doors, but significantly reduce it.

Hope you took a break between doing each side - Working Time Directive, etc. :giggle:
