Would it work fine in my VRS?

That'll be fine. Mixes OK with the G12 or G12+ whatever is in the vrs.

I put G12++ in mine and it's fine. I don't think they do normal G12 at the dealers anymore it was superseded by G12+ then G12++.

as has been said G12++ is now the recommended fill for your vag car, and it cna be mixed with the previous pink coolants
