I spotted a Yeti and it's in my drive.

Featured Replies

Yes it has finally arrived and I am over the moon with it, the Pacific Blue colour that I worried about after a dealer called it Doom Blue is wonderful and goes well with the black interior. The three spoke wheel that most people on the forum think is a waist of money is a dream to use, it just comes down to personal driving preferences and this one seems to suit me.

My Iphone 4, something else I worried about after reading many posts on the subject paired no problems and the phone book downloaded and is easy to use. However my greatest joy was that it streams perfectly, I am a audio book fanatic and it is so good having it played over the car radio. One niggle though (always got to be one) is the very loud ping noise when it pairs and disengages, it frightens my passengers out of their wits! Has anyone got the solution to mute this beast?

Further post with pictures to follow.

Definitely remember seeing a post about being able to reduce the Ping noise somehwre around this forum. Have a search. I think it's possible in the radio menu

There you go. Answer is in this thread. And copied from reply #6:

"It was actually under the Phone Setup menu and then into the Ringtone sub menu, where I was able to adjust the volume of the in-car ringtone (that the car plays when it receives an external phone call via bluetooth). Oddly, this volume level setting also controls the 'paired' and 'unpaired' alert signals."

Thanks for that, it just shows how helpful this forum is to all of us.
