Leaning towards a Yeti

Featured Replies

Hello. Just to offer an introductory post.

I don't actually have a Skoda as we speak but am beginning to hanker after one.

Current car - Two year old CVT Jazz

I'll post some details under a more appropriate heading if I can work out how to do it.

But for now - thank you for having me....as they say in polite circles :-)

Welcome and come and join us in the Yeti section, but don't worry as we are all a bit mad in there :giggle:

What you will get is good advice and lots of banter.

Thanks for that - it's appreciated. I do have a couple of topics in my mind, most of which, I'm sure, have been touched upon before but as the Yeti is still fairly new I guess you won't mind too much if they're resurrected.

Briskoda is very well respected in other places that I've stumbled upon and the depth of knowledge readily available for all to see.

Hope to correspond another time, not so late in the evening, and trust also that I'll find the right place to post too.

Llanigraham....I believe I saw a pic of yours in one of the other forums.

Would it be Muscovado? I guess you would also have looked at the Cappucino.....and perhaps it was a bit too light? Would you call it brown in any way...or how else might you describe it? Haven't seen that colour in the flesh.

Thanks.

Yes it is Muscavado.

I didn't get a choice in colour as I bought the demo from a dealer I knew well, but it is lighter than I thought it was going to be. It doesn't appear to merge into the background, even in it's current filthy state!

If I had been buying a new one I would have bought either the orange or white, but to be honest anything but blue or green!

Have you looked at all the owner's pictures on the Yeti forum? You could also ask the owners there.

Thanks for quick reply to PM , Llanigraham.

I was imagining that the Cappuccino would have been too light - but that yours would be noticably darker ( and perhaps, more attractive). Will look out for something in Musc.

Still looking through the (useful and numerous) Yeti threads... (as well as the comprehensive Winter Tyres correspondence). I think I might be looking at 1.2 DSG (with, perhaps, winter tyres on seperate wheels if considered advisable).....but it usually takes me while to study up on things, so Briskoda is providing much useful stuff to browse through.

Yes, did flick through the owners pics which, I think, is where I saw yours.

Appreciate your reply. (Where's the campsite?)

I'll get back to you on the whereabouts, as I'm at work tonight
