By the time you get that part and weld it in you may have paid near to the price of that decat pipe, depending on who is doing the work. The decat pipe are around £100 new

I do the maths and buying that flex. conn is about 17pounds and welding it another 15 pounds....that's alot cheaper

Now I cannot afford to pay 100 for this.

plus fitting cost to take off pipe, and then refit?

The doecat downpipe looks like a 3" pipe (76ish mm) so the flexi pipe will be about 15 ish mm thicker by the look of it

Me thinks it's quite easily measured from above. Just looked mine today, and the outer shell was broken and spinning around inner tube... Expecting loud exhaust noise soon?
